Rainbow-Lite

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What platforms does Rainbow Lite support?

  • Native support for PC and Switch platforms, PS4 and PS5 platforms can be supported through R90 (PS5 native games are not supported)

  • When you plug in the computer, the light turns on, but the computer can’t recognize the device

  • Confirm that the handle connection indicator is lit (the indicator above the logo key).
The xinput mode is green, and the switch mode is red.
If it does not light up, it means that the handle is not connected successfully, check whether the data cable on the handle end is firmly plugged in

  • Can Rainbow Lite connect wirelessly?

  • No, Rainbow Lite is positioned as a professional gaming controller, which has high requirements for delay control, and in order to ensure the accuracy of somatosensory simulation, it adopts a wired connection with zero delay and anti-interference.

  • Does Rainbow Lite support motion controls?

  • Not supported

  • Rainbow Lite cannot be controlled after being directly connected to the switch

  • “Turn on wired connection” on SWITCH is required (refer to the manual for detailed steps)

  • The Rainbow Lite does not have a linear trigger in Switch mode

  • The Switch protocol does not support linear triggers, and all Switch controllers do not have linear triggers

  • Can the lights be turned off?

  • Yes, double-tap the FN button on the back to turn off the lighting

  • There is no sound in the audio port of Rainbow Lite

  • The controller only supports PC audio output.
After connecting to other platforms through R90, it is actually controlled by R90, and R90 does not support audio output, so the audio port of the handle does not support audio output at this time.

  • The Rainbow Lite stick is stuck and has a clogging feel

  • Check if it is caused by the joystick cap being pulled up, if so, simply press the joystick cap vertically

  • How do I adjust the joystick dead zone?

  • After the handle is powered on, connect to the mobile APP via Bluetooth to adjust the dead zone of the joystick

  • When the Rainbow Lite is paired with the R90, even if the joystick is set to 0 dead zone, it still feels like the joystick has a dead zone

  • The R90 comes with a 10% dead zone, and any joystick that is connected to the R90 will have an additional 10% dead zone. The official website has a special 0 dead zone firmware, which can be selected according to your own situation.

  • Rainbow Lite’s joystick drift

  • 1. First determine whether it is caused by the joystick cap being pulled up and the joystick being physically not centered. If so, press down the joystick cap.
If not, calibrate the joystick (see the manual for specific operation)
    2. If it is connected to the Steam platform, it is not ruled out that it is caused by a bug in Steam (the current version of Steam does have this bug), you can try to push the joystick to the outermost circle and rotate for two weeks to see if it can be recovered, if not, then exclude this factor.
Added: Rainbow Lite can set the joystick dead zone, when the joystick dead zone is set to 0, the joystick will inevitably drift. Regardless of the product, all joysticks will drift in 0 dead zones.
